Not only do they have perfect weather in San Diego, they currently have a first place team and a first class blog site to follow it. Gaslamp Ball boasts the twin pens of jbox and Dex, a pair of bloggers who inspire Padres fans every day with their insight and wit. Right now, the site celebrates a one-game lead in the wild and wooly NL West, but goes a step further. The Dodgers have a very rich baseball history but fans have not cheered a World Series appearance now in close to two decades. Ever faithful (though frustrated), author Jon Weisman of Dodger Thoughts has followed the team every step of the way. If you have any interest in the battle for NL West supremacy, be sure to put AZ Snakepit on your blog map.

Not too many folks picked the Milwaukee Brewers to win the NL Central, a division boasting the world champion Cardinals and the popular Cubs. But the Brewers have a comfortable lead thanks to strong starting pitching and serious power at the plate. Jeff Sackmann, a diehard Milwaukee fan with a loyal blog following, keeps his keyboard tuned in to the team's pulse on a daily basis. His blog party is called Brew Crew Ball. If you care about the NL Central race over a roller coaster season, bookmark the site and party along.
